Piano Gallery is a family run business that has been repairing and selling pianos and pianola’s since 1980.

We have a very extensive workshop facility that enables us to carry out major restoration work. This includes restringing and pinning, replacing wrest planks and bridges, and total refelting. In addition we are able to offer a total repolishing service in all types of materials including French polishing, polyester, 2 pack and lacquer. We also restore pianolas of all makes and models.

John and Matthew are both fully qualified tuners and technicians. They are also members of the Victorian Piano Tuners and Technicians Guild.

John has an engineering back ground and has been trained in piano work in the late 70s. He has travelled throughout Australia tuning and repairing pianos. John also tunes for Crown Ltd, preparing pianos for international artists. He has lectured at the piano tuner conventions.

Matthew is a second generation piano tuner technician, and specializes in pianola restorations and has been doing so all his working life.
